Do You Have Heart Failure?

Study Summary

The University of Chicago and Dr. Beshai are conducting a study for people who are scheduled to receive a cardiac resynchronization therapy device (CRT-D) for their heart failure.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI), Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (cMRI) and Echocardiography (Echo) testing can correctly predict which patients will respond well to CRT-D implants. You will be in this study for about six months.

Participation in this study may help doctors predict how much your heart failure will worsen. This could result in better management of your disease.
