Aliya Husain, MD

Professor of Pathology

Dr. Aliya Husain is an expert pathologist specializing in pediatric pathology and the diagnosis of diseases and conditions of the lungs and heart. Her primary clinical interests include pathology of heart and lung transplantation, the diagnosis of small lung tumors, mesothelioma, and interstitial lung disease.

An active researcher, Dr. Husain is currently studying genetic mutations in lung cancer, and changes of pre-eclampsia in the placenta.
