Aliya Husain, MD

Professor of Pathology

Dr. Aliya Husain is an expert pathologist specializing in pediatric pathology and the diagnosis of diseases and conditions of the lungs and heart. Her primary clinical interests include pathology of heart and lung transplantation, the diagnosis of lung cancer, mesothelioma, and interstitial lung diseases.

An active researcher, Dr. Husain is currently studying genetic mutations in lung cancer, and antibody-mediated rejection in heart and lung transplant.
