Cara A. Rosenbaum, MD

Instructor of Medicine

Dr. Cara Rosenbaum specializes in adult hematology/oncology--particularly in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies. She also has clinical expertise in the fields of malignant and benign hematology. Dr. Rosenbaum works in the Center for Gastrointestinal Oncology, a multidisciplinary team of experts focused on the treatment of common and rare cancers of the digestive system. She works closely with surgical and radiation oncologists as well as interventional gastroenterologists, supporting an integrated approach to patient care.

Dr. Rosenbaum serves an executive role in the National Cancer Institute-funded oncology research organization, the Cancer and Leukemia Group B. She works on the development of clinical trials for new cancer therapies.
