Cara A. Rosenbaum, MDAssistant Professor of MedicineDr. Cara A. Rosenbaum specializes in adult hematology/oncology--particularly in the treatment of multiple myeloma and lymphoma, and in the care of complications of multiple myeloma and the use of new therapies. She also performs bone marrow transplantation. Dr. Rosenbaum works closely with radiation oncologists, surgeons and interventional radiologists supporting an integrated approach to patient care. She has clinical expertise in non-malignant hematologic disorders, including clotting and bleeding disorders. Dr. Rosenbaum serves as principal investigator for a number of multiple myeloma and lymphoma clinical trials. She is an executive officer in the Cancer and Leukemia Group B, an oncology clinical research organization funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). In this role, Dr. Rosenbaum works closely with researchers at the national level and the NCI to develop cancer clinical trials for new therapies in lymphoma, myeloma, and leukemia, as well as bone marrow transplantation.
