Interventional Endoscopy Training Program

Dr. Charles Dye specializes in interventional endoscopy with a focus on endoscopic ultrasound, pancreatico-biliary diseases, and endoscopic therapy for gastrointestinal disorders, including cancer. In a gastrointestinal interventional endoscopy procedure, a physician uses a thin, flexible tube equipped with tiny cameras and devices to diagnose and treat certain conditions.

His research interests focus on novel tissue acquisition devices including laser technology for potential treatment of Barrett's esophagus. Other involvement includes several areas of GI oncology with protocols designed to improve therapeutic options for patients with common GI and chest malignancies.
