Dr. McNally directs the Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic, a comprehensive program that focuses on diagnosing and treating patients with inherited forms of heart disease. The program also serves as a resource to families that are affected by--or may be at risk for--inherited heart disease. An accomplished scientist, Dr. McNally's laboratory research has led to a better understanding of the genes that play a role in the development of cardiomyopathy and muscular dystrophy, a neuromuscular disease.
