Esra Tasali, MD

Assistant Professor of Medicine

Esra Tasali, MD, is interested in the links between sleep and metabolic, endocrine and cardiovascular functions. She is an expert in sleep disorders with a specific interest in sleep-disordered breathing.

Dr.Tasali’s current research focuses on the role of sleep disturbances in the development of metabolic and endocrine abnormalities including type 2 diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome. She has led innovative research studies investigating the relationship between sleep disruptions and diabetes risk.
