Gene H. Kim, MDAssistant Professor of MedicineGene Kim, MD, provides skilled medical care to adults with cardiovascular disease. He focuses on heart transplantation and patients with advanced heart failure. Dr. Kim is investigating microRNA regulation of cardiovascular development and function. He is also currently researching the use of high-frequency ultrasonic imaging in laboratory models to detect a wide range of cardiac disorders, including aortic and vascular disorders, hypertension, hypertrophy, cardiomyopathy, and right ventricular dysfunction.
