As a pediatric critical care specialist, Dr. Jason Kane, is highly skilled in diagnosing and managing care for critically ill infants and children. Dr. Kane has a particular clinical interest in the care of patients with congenital heart disease following cardiac surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and of the American College of Critical Care Medicine.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kane is also focused on research efforts that examine ways to enhance treatment effectiveness and improve outcomes in critically ill patients. He is a nationally recognized leader in patient safety and quality. Dr. Kane has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Chest, Quality Management in Healthcare, and the American Journal of Medical Quality.
