After a first round of treatment at another hospital failed to slow his cancer, Anwar Hakim turned to Dr. Luke for a second opinion. Dr. Luke recommended Hakim participate in a Phase 1 clinical trial of a combination immunotherapy for melanoma. More than a year and a half after receiving the new treatment, Hakim's tumors have shrunk dramatically, and he maintains a full life.
