E-mail pageJayant Pinto, MDAssistant Professor of SurgeryDr. Jayant Pinto is a specialist in sinus and nasal diseases, including chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and olfactory dysfunction. He is also an expert in minimally invasive and endoscopic treatments of related eyes diseases (e.g., tearing, Grave’s disease) as well as tumors of the nose and anterior skull base. Dr. Pinto treats common conditions of the head and neck, such as sleep apnea, acid reflux and salivary gland disorders. Dr. Pinto’s research focuses on the basic physiology of the nose. He directs innovative clinical trials for chronic sinusitis, allergies, olfactory disorders, and aging of the ear, nose and throat. His research represents a first step toward designing new diagnostic tests and improved treatments for these difficult conditions.
