Jeanne DeCara, MD, is a cardiologist with special expertise in noninvasive imaging techniques. Dr. DeCara has a particular interest in diagnosing and treating heart valve disorders. Her research interests include the application of new echocardiographic techniques for the diagnosis of impaired myocardial perfusion and function, evaluation of global and regional heart wall motion, and the use of hand-carried ultrasound devices to screen for heart problems at the bedside.
