Jennifer S. Chennat, MDAssistant Professor of MedicineDr. Jennifer Chennat specializes in interventional endoscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic-biliary disorders, gastrointestinal tract tumors and other abnormal conditions of the digestive tract. She focuses on endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangio pancreatography (ERCP) and enteral stenting techniques. Dr. Chennat is studying methods to continually expand the application of interventional endoscopy as a less invasive alternative to standard surgical procedures. Additionally, she is researching novel therapeutic protocols for early esophageal cancer using state-of-the-art endoscopic modalities. Dr. Chennat is also involved in research focused on enhanced endoscopic techniques for tissue acquisition aimed at the diagnosis and analysis of gastrointestinal tumors.
