Beshai, MD, is an expert in cardiac electrophysiology, an area of medicine focused on the treatment of heart rhythm problems (arrhythmias). Dr. Beshai provides the full range of treatment options, from radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and supraventricular tachycardia, to pacemaker and defibrillator implantation to control irregular heartbeats. A respected scientist, Dr. Beshai is currently the national principal investigator of a multicenter clinical trial looking at cardiac resynchronization therapy in patients with congestive heart failure. In addition, he is involved in multiple studies developing new technologies and approaches to radiofrequency ablation of complex arrhythmias.
