John H. Jacobsen, MD

Assistant Professor of Neurology

Dr. John Jacobsen is an expert in the neurophysiology of sleep and neuromuscular transmission. He is active in teaching EEG and EMG to resident physicians. Dr. Jacobsen also interprets polysomnographic studies. Polysomnographies are all-night studies of patients with sleep-related complaints, such as snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness, breathing difficulty during sleep, restless legs, or insomnia.
