He is particularly skilled in the use of multi-slice cardiac computed tomography (MSCT)--an advanced non-invasive imaging procedure used in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. As medical director of cardiac rehabilitation, Dr. Lodato leads a comprehensive educational and exercise program designed to help patients maximize their recovery after a heart attack, heart procedure or surgery. Working with other heart specialists, Dr. Lodato also researches the use of different cardiac imaging techniques, including 3-D echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance and cardiac CT.
