She focuses on the surgical treatment of patients with newly diagnosed cancer, benign tumors and recurrent cancer of the head and neck. She also has significant experience and expertise in treating patients with complex wounds and complications related to head and neck cancer treatment, such as osteoradionecrosis or swallowing difficulties. Dr. Stenson combines surgical proficiency with her philosophy of individualized patient care to provide the best possible treatment options. In addition to improving survival, her main goal in patient care is functional rehabilitation through therapy or reconstruction.
