Kevin Roggin, MDAssistant Professor of SurgeryA board-certified surgical oncologist, Dr. Kevin Roggin specializes in the surgical treatment of upper gastrointestinal tract cancers (stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, colorectal, retroperitoneal sarcomas, and bile duct/cholangiocarcinoma). He is an active member of the GI tumor board--which offers patients a multidisciplinary team-oriented approach to complete cancer care. Dr. Roggin has initiated several clinical research trials and serves as an active member of the Clinical Trials Review Committee. Currently, he is working on the following clinical trials to:
In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Roggin is actively involved in surgical education. He is the associate program director for the Section of General Surgery Residency Program and Surgical Oncology Fellowship, and he serves on the Surgical Education Committee.
