Kevin Roggin, MDAssociate Professor of SurgeryA board-certified general surgeon and surgical oncologist, Kevin Roggin, MD, specializes in the surgical treatment of complex upper gastrointestinal tract cancers (stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, colorectal, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), retroperitoneal sarcomas, and bile duct/cholangiocarcinoma). Dr. Roggin serves as program director of the General Surgery Residency and associate program director of the Surgical Oncology Fellowship. He is also vice-chairman of the training committee of the Society of Surgical Oncology. Additionally, Dr. Roggin coordinates a multidisciplinary research team of pancreatic cancer physicians and scientists from the University of Chicago and affiliated institutions.
