Leslie Wallene Yang, MD, is gastroenterologist who cares for patients with a wide range of gastro-intestinal problems. She has a special interest in colon cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and irritable bowel syndrome.

Dr. Yang is interested in how the use of an Internet-based educational program impacts patients' likeliness to keep appointments and arrive prepared for procedures. In one study, Dr. Yang and her colleagues found that the program cut 'no-shows' rates for colorectal cancer screenings.
