Dr. Martin Kelly Nicholas is an expert neuro-oncologist. He provides comprehensive care for brain tumor patients in the neuroscience clinics. Dr. Nicholas and his colleagues offer a multidisciplinary, clinical trials-based program for patients with malignant gliomas and brain metastases. He also diagnoses and treats neurological complications of systemic cancer.

Dr. Nicholas' clinical research focuses on the biology of brain tumors, and he attempts to improve patient outcomes through the use of new therapies. He does this by coordinating clinical trials and through interactions with other doctors and researchers in neurosurgery and radiation oncology.

A devoted teacher, Dr. Nicholas trains medical students, residents and post-doctoral fellows at the University of Chicago. He is also active in brain tumor patient advocacy groups.
