Dr. Lesniak is the director of the University of Chicago Brain Tumor Center, a multidisciplinary group of physicians dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of patients with brain tumors. The Center provides a comprehensive approach to patient management and offers the newest, most innovative therapies. In addition, the Center actively participates in National Institutes of Health-sponsored clinical trials. Dr. Lesniak's research interests include gene therapy and immunotherapy of brain tumors. He is an active scholar who regularly publishes articles and book chapters regarding the treatment of adult brain tumors. Dr. Lesniak is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences.
