Mishka Terplan, MD, MPHAssistant Professor of Obstetrics/GynecologyDr. Mishka Terplan is a specialist in obstetrics, gynecology and epidemiology. He is interested in alcohol and drug use and abuse in women, especially during pregnancy. In particular, he is committed to providing top-quality and evidence-based health care to socially marginalized populations. Dr. Terplan's research interests include the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions for drug treatment during pregnancy, and trends in drug treatment referral from the criminal justice system. He also has an interest in the history and anthropology of addiction. Additionally, Dr. Terplan is involved in resident education and promoting resident research.
