Dr. Murray Favus is an expert in the treatment of osteoporosis and related metabolic bone diseases.

His basic research focuses on calcium and vitamin D metabolism, and the role of the vitamin D receptor in states of bone loss and hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine). He also conducts basic and clinical studies in osteoporosis, and hypercalciuric states.
