Pradeep Kadambi, MDAssistant Professor of MedicineDr. Pradeep Kadambi specializes in the evaluation, management and treatment of kidney and pancreas transplant recipients and evaluation of living kidney donors. He has an interest in complications of transplantation such as infections, cancers and anemia. He also focuses on the optimization of immunosuppression following transplantation. Dr. Kadambi completed some nephrology training and research at Yale University through his residency and fellowship at St. Raphael in New Haven, CT. An active researcher, he is an investigator in several national, multi-center research trials, including an NIH-sponsored trial of organ transplantation in patients with HIV disease. He is studying methods to optimize immunosuppression in order to decrease the occurrence of post-transplant infection.
