Radhika Peddinti, MD, is an expert in the care and treatment of children with all types of blood disorders and cancers. She is particularly interested in sickle cell disease. She also is a part of the multidisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Group. Other areas of interest include hemoglobinopathies, benign hematology, coagulation disorders and solid tumors.

Dr. Peddinti and her colleagues participate in ongoing clinical research trials conducted by the Children’s Oncology Group.

Soon after Angel Almanza was born, doctors found a hemangioma (benign tumor) on his left arm. During a consult at Comer Children's Hospital, Dr. Peddinti diagnosed the "hemangioma" as an arteriovenous malformation and collaborated with a team of experts to help Angel. Read more.
