Robert C. Harland, MDAssociate Professor of Surgery and MedicineDirector, Kidney and Pancreas TransplantationDr. Robert Harland specializes in kidney, pancreas, and liver transplantations, as well as advanced laparoscopic procedures. He has participated in more than 1,000 transplant procedures. He has a special interest in the care of diabetic and nondiabetic patients with end-organ disease. Dr. Harland's clinical research interests include developing new ways to transplant the "difficult to transplant" patient--including patients undergoing repeat transplantation, those requiring multiple organ transplantation and patients with complex medical problems.
