Rupa Mehta, MD

Assistant Professor of Medicine

Rupa Mehta, MD, is a cardiologist and expert in cardiovascular imaging. She has a special interest in nuclear cardiac imaging, which is a type of test used to assess heart function and blood supply to the heart. She also has interests in echocardiography, preventive cardiology and women’s health.

Dr. Mehta's research interests include quality assurance and guidelines for care, women's heart disease, and new techniques for nuclear imaging. In addition to her patient care and research activities, Dr. Mehta teaches cardiology courses at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
