Dr. Soonmo Peter Kang specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal and breast cancers. He is involved in the development of new Phase 1 drugs for advanced solid tumors. He is involved in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.

Dr. Kang has a special interest in pharmacogenomics-–an emerging field of study that combines the techniques of medicine, pharmacology and genetics to discover new drugs and to predict how an individual patient will respond to drug therapy.
