Susan Ksiazek, MDAssistant Professor of Ophthalmology & Visual ScienceSusan Ksiazek, MD, has expertise in general ophthalmology and is skilled in medical and surgical strategies for treating a variety of ophthalmic diseases and disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid problems and neuro-ophthalmic disease. She examines eyes and their movements and determines how findings relate to processes occurring in the brain. Dr. Ksiazek has broad research interests including ischemic optic neuropathy and teaching of surgery. She serves as Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Program and is involved in teaching courses in resident education nationally and internationally.
