Susan Ksiazek, MD

Associate Professor of Ophthalmology & Visual Science

Susan Ksiazek, MD, has expertise in general ophthalmology and is skilled in medical and surgical strategies for treating a variety of ophthalmic diseases and disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid problems and neuro-ophthalmic disease. She examines eyes and their movements and determines how findings relate to processes occurring in the brain.

Dr. Ksiazek's research interests include assessment and teaching of surgery. She serves as medical student advisor and is involved in teaching courses in resident education nationally and internationally. She is a member of the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology and Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
