Thomas A. Blondis, MD

Associate Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. Thomas Blondis is a knowledgeable expert on developmental and behavioral services for children of all ages. He is especially committed to early intervention efforts to identify and assist infants and toddlers in need, and currently serves as executive director and medical consultant for the University of Chicago Woodlawn Early Intervention Program.

He is active in many national organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, for which he serves on the attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder practice guidelines subcommittee. He is also a member of several local committees aimed at reducing lead poisoning and helping children with physical and mental disabilities. In addition, Dr. Blondis is a member of the editorial board for Attention magazine.
