Epic Training
Visiting and rotating residents must complete a computer-based training module prior to rotation at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
The 45-minute course provides an overview of Epic's Emergency Department Module as it has been designed for the University of Chicago Medical Center. Residents will be introduced to basic functions of the Epic system including logging and signing in, assigning themselves to patients, viewing patient charts, documenting physician notes, and entering diagnosis, disposition and discharge information.
