Community Programs

The University of Chicago Medical Center provides a full range of programs designed to increase awareness of health issues and to improve the health of people all over the Chicago metropolitan area. Our staff regularly sets up informational booths at community fairs and distributes materials on health concerns, such as cancer, heart disease, and pregnancy. In past events, we have offered free blood pressure screenings, diabetes risk assessment, health and nutrition information, breast self-exam brochures, seat belt safety information, and organ donation contacts.

Our programs include:
Community Fitness Program
Community Speaker's Group
Healthy Communities Access Program (HCAP)
The Best of The Best
