University of Chicago surgeon David Song, MD, was a featured expert throughout the 14th annual Breast Cancer 2010 Radio Special that aired on WGN Radio (720 AM). Hosted by Dean Richards, the three-hour program was a live discussion among medical experts, breast cancer survivors, and listeners who talked about breast cancer treatment, research, and more. Eloise Orr, a breast cancer survivor who received treatment from a team of Medical Center experts shared her story and answered questions from listeners.
Other show participants included celebrity guests Mehmet Oz, MD, of "The Dr. Oz Show", and singer-songwriter-musician Melissa Etheridge, who is also a breast cancer survivor. The radio special aired October 31, 2010.
