In addition to a primary transplant physician, a patient’s stem cell transplant team includes:

• A dedicated nurse coordinator
• A social worker
• A financial counselor who can answer questions about insurance coverage
• An inpatient team of physicians, nurses and other clinicians who oversee the patient's care during a hospital stay
• Other support staff, including dietitians and pharmacists, as needed
