Our Gastrointestinal Interventional Endoscopy Team
At the University of Chicago Center for Endoscopic Research and Therapeutics, our gastrointestinal interventional endoscopy physicians are key members of the Section of Gastroenterology. Our team also plays a critical role in our internationally recognized cancer program. U.S.News and World Report ranks both our gastroenterology and cancer programs among the best in the United States.
Specialized nurses and technicians are integral members our team. They have years of experience working in this field. They are directly involved with the success of every case and have helped educate other teams of endoscopy nurses from around the region. Our team of anesthesiologists and certified nurse anesthetists are readily available and are among the finest in the region as well.
Our endoscopists work closely with physicians from a wide variety of specialties, including medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, genetics and other areas.
