Therapeutic Services
We also offer physical medicine and rehabilitation services, including physical therapy and occupational therapy to help patients restore motion and strength.
Molecular Orthopaedic Laboratory
In the Molecular Orthopaedic Laboratory, we research molecular causes of bone and musculoskeletal diseases and possible treatments for these conditions. For example, our physicians are studying ways to diagnose and treat bone tumors. They are also exploring innovative gene therapy treatments for orthopaedic injuries and spinal conditions.
Orthopaedic Research Institute
Here, our physicians research ways to improve joint replacements. They also develop computer software and imaging tools to predict bone strength and diagnose bone loss.
Motion Analysis Laboratory
Also called our “Gait Lab,” this unique service focuses on the biomechanics of walking and stepping up. It is particularly useful for patients with arthritis or those who have undergone total joint replacement of the hip or knee.
