Center for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
The physicians at the University of Chicago Medicine Center for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome are leaders in the diagnosis and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Here, our experts take an individualized approach to care--recognizing that no two cases of PCOS are exactly alike. We work closely with each patient to determine the best treatment plan--from reducing symptoms to prescribing new therapies for insulin resistance, which may be the root cause of PCOS.
Our physicians are actively researching the genetics of PCOS and the association between PCOS and other conditions, such as diabetes and obstructive sleep apnea. These same specialists are internationally known for their expertise, and have published many important articles on PCOS.
