Laura Fetzer, RN, APN (urogynecology)
Laura Fetzer Vacek, RN, APN, has been a clinical practitioner in the Sections of Urogynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Chicago Medicine since 1997. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wayne State University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Nurse Practitioners.
Liz Zavala, RN (colorectal surgery)
Aracely "Liz" Zavala, RN is a nurse associate with the Section of General Surgery’s Pelvic Floor Clinic. She performs clinical procedures and also works closely with patients to make sure they receive the necessary follow up and education, if needed. Prior to joining the nursing staff at the University of Chicago Medicine, she was surgical coordinator for the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Division of Colorectal Surgery and Pelvic Floor Center. She attended nursing school at Morton College.
