Irene's Story

Because Irene Hurley had no health insurance, she was concerned she would not find the care she needed to treat her asthma and bronchitis. Now, Irene has a medical home at the Chicago Family Health Center. Fees for health care provided at the center are determined on a sliding scale, taking into account each person's ability to pay.
