Getting back to the expressway after your visit
To ensure traffic moves smoothly, please do not enter campus at 58th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. Please only use 58th Street for exiting the medical campus.

Valet parking is offered directly in front of all of our patient care facilities: Center for Care and Discovery, Bernard A. Mitchell Adult Hospital, Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM), and Comer Children's Hospital. To self-park at the main hospital parking garage, continue to 59th Street and turn north on Maryland Avenue. The garage entrance is located on the left side of the street. Hourly rates apply. Please ask clinic staff about discounted parking rates for patients and visitors.
Pay Station Locations
The University of Chicago Medicine uses an automated payment system. Patients and visitors can find pay stations in the following locations:
- On the first floor of the east elevator bank near the Parking Office
- Near the elevators on the Mitchell access bridge
- On the first floor of the north elevator bank
- Near the elevators on the DCAM access bridge
- For valet customers only, there is a pay station in the DCAM ground floor lobby
- For valet customers only, there are pay stations in the Center for Care and Discovery ground floor east lobby
If you self-park, please make sure to pay your parking ticket before returning to your car. There are no cashiers at the garage exit.
