Valet parking is offered directly in front of all of our patient care facilities: Center for Care and Discovery, Bernard A. Mitchell Adult Hospital, Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM), and Comer Children's Hospital.

To ensure traffic moves smoothly, please do not enter campus at 58th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. Please only use 58th Street for exiting the medical campus. » Driving directions

DCAM Valet

To self-park at the main hospital parking garage, continue to 59th Street and turn north on Maryland Avenue. The garage entrance is located on the left side of the street. Hourly rates apply. Please ask clinic staff about discounted parking rates for patients and visitors.

Pay Station Locations

The University of Chicago Medicine uses an automated payment system. Patients and visitors can find pay stations in the following locations:

  • On the first floor of the east elevator bank near the Parking Office
  • Near the elevators on the Mitchell access bridge
  • On the first floor of the north elevator bank
  • Near the elevators on the DCAM access bridge

Please make sure to pay your parking ticket before returning to your car. There are no cashiers at the garage exit.

Prepaid Discounted Parking Rates

Patients and their families can purchase five prepaid parking validation tickets for $25. Each ticket is good for one 24-hour parking period (self-park or valet). Tickets are available in the Parking Office, located on the first floor of the main garage at 5840 S. Maryland Avenue.

The University of Chicago Medicine no longer accepts parking stickers. Anyone who purchased coupon books and parking stickers prior to January 2013 may exchange them for prepaid validation tickets in the Parking Office.
