Parking
We encourage patients and visitors to use our valet parking service. It’s convenient and usually less expensive than self-parking. Due to construction, Maryland Avenue is closed from 57th to 58th Street. Please follow the parking directions below to the University of Chicago Medicine campus.
To ensure traffic moves smoothly, please do not enter campus at 58th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. Please only use 58th Street for exiting the medical campus.

Valet Parking
Valet parking is available in front of the Bernard A. Mitchell adult hospital, Comer Children's Hospital Emergency Room and the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM). Please ask clinic staff for a parking validation sticker.
Bernard A. Mitchell Adult Hospital
5815 S. Maryland Avenue
To reach adult hospital valet parking, proceed to 59th Street and turn left on Maryland Avenue. Valet parking is located at the front entrance of the hospital on the right side of the street.

Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM)
5758 S. Maryland Avenue
To reach DCAM valet parking, proceed to 57th Street. Turn south on Drexel Avenue. Turn right on 58th Street and continue one block to Maryland Avenue. Turn right on Maryland Avenue and then left into the DCAM valet entry.

Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago

To access Comer Children’s Hospital valet parking, proceed east on 57th Street. Turn right on Drexel Avenue. Turn right on 58th Street and continue one block to Maryland Avenue. Turn right on Maryland Avenue and proceed north to the main entrance to Comer Children's Hospital.

Self-Parking
If you choose to self-park, please add at least 30 minutes to your travel time to allow for traffic in the garage. Valet is the recommended parking option.
To self-park at the main hospital parking garage, continue to 59th Street and turn left on Maryland Avenue. The garage entrance is located on the left side of the street. Hourly rates apply. Please ask clinic staff for a parking validation sticker.
